Itinerary
Day: 01: Cochin
On arrival at Cochin airport / Ernakulam Railway station, you will be met by our representative and who will transfer to the Hotel. After some rest start a half day sightseeing tour of Cochin. Cochin is called "The queen of Arabian Sea" which has beautiful backwater and clean Town Visit: The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St.Francis church, Chinese fishing net & The indo-Portuguese Museum. Later in the evening transfer you back to Hotel.
Day: 02: Cochin-Munnar
After breakfast starts the Journey to Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). Enjoy beautiful streams, small water falls, Rubber, Pepper cardamom and Tea plantations and thick forests On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel.. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.
Day: 03: Munnar sightseeing
Visit - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary famous for Nilagiri Tahr and Tea gardens . Arrive back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.
Day: 04:Munnar - Periyar
At 0900 Hrs and start the journey to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs) drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams. Throughout this journey you can enjoy different type of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, clove etc. On arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel.
Day: 05: Periyar
After Breakfast go for (optional) Kath kali, Kalaripayatu, Spiceplantation & Boating in Peiryar lake. You may get a chance to see wild animals while. Overnight stay in resort
Day: 06: Departure
Check out from the Resort and you will be driven back to Cochin Airport/ Railway station with wonderful memories and realisation that it indeed is “Gods own country”.
