Itinerary
Day: 01: Cochin-Munnar
On arrival at Cochin airport / Ernakulam Railway station, you will met our representative and will transfer to Munnar (140 Kms / 04 Hrs). Enjoy beautiful streams, small water falls, Rubber, Pepper cardamom and Tea plantations and thick forests On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel.. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.
Day: 02: Munnar sightseeing
Visit - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary famous for Nilagiri Tahr and Tea gardens . Arrive back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar.
Day: 03: Periyar
At 0900 Hrs and start the journey to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs) drive through panoramic western ghat hills covered with spice plantations and occasional view of water falls and streams. Throughout this journey you can enjoy different type of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon, clove etc. On arrival at Thekkady check into Hotel. After some rest go for Boating in Peiryar lake. You may get a chance to see wild animals while boating
Day: 04: Periyar- Kumarakom
Kumarakom (175 Kms / 4 Hrs) On arrival at Kumarakom visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (famous for migratory and local birds ) and later check in at hotel
Day: 05: Departure
Check out from the Hotel and you will be driven back to Cochin Airport/ Railway station with wonderful memories and realisation that it indeed is “Gods own country”.
